Personalize Mug Sculpture & Painting

Hannah will pre-throw and trim your mug bases, and keep them nice and leather hard for you to easily add your texture, sculpture or personalizations too. Hannah will walk you through how to do everything but please come with a design in mind. Once everything has been added that you wish to do, you will be able to use underglazes as a way of painting your greenware safely. Hannah will then bisque fire your pieces to 1000 degrees, coat your pieces in transparent glaze for you, and re-fire your pieces in the glaze firing to 1250 degrees. these firings take 16-24 hours. and your pieces WILL need to dry for about a week before Hannah begins firing. So you wont be able to collect your pieces for about 2 weeks.
