Pet's / Animals Illustrations

Pet Portraits are always fun, I love hearing about the animals in question, why they have such a special place in their owners hearts and I try my hardest to encapsulate the personalities in to these commissions. It's one thing to paint a cat, but when youre painting a cat for the owner who cared for this beloved family member for 12 years straight and can tell if they hold their tails incorrectly or if the eye colour isnt quite right, it's almost more delicate than painting a human. And become of this I will always love painting animals.
