Scottish Tree Study

Fine Art Limited Edition Signed Print by Hannah Cambridge.

The Backlass Project is the inspiration for everything Hannah has painted, The Backlass Project is a personal project where she studies and documents everything she can in a very paticular area of Caithness, Scotland. The area is important to her because it is where her parents live, but it also has historical influences, as well as being a protected area.

The elusive wildcat, for months Hannah and her family weren't sure but kept seeing fluffy tails and giant reflective eyes as they returned home from outtings, until one day. One evening the whole family were in the living room of Hannah's parents house, then suddenly they all heard cats fighting, which was highly unusual due to their cats being far too lazy to ever really fight, they all scrambed to see what was happening, and the most unusual sight, a true (most likely mixed) wildcat backing out of the cat flap in Hannah's parents porch, and their black girl cat Bella, having the best go she could at this strange kitty of the night. After that night, we could no longer say we weren't sure.

This lovely print comes un-mounted.
