Historical Points of Wick Coaster Set

£12.50Price

Historical points of Wick, natural stone platter 200mm x 400mm perfect for displaying in the centre of the table, this lovely piece has three incredible points of Caithness, Scotland including the Wick harbour, historical for its Herring industry, Wick's long association with the herring fishing industry began way back in 1767, when three local men, Alexander Miller of Staxigoe, John Sutherland of Wester and John Anderson of Wick outfitted two sloops and began to fish for herring.
A long time after L. S. Lowry came to Wick and painted the famous Black Stairs, and to this day the stairs pay tribute to this amazing artist, and as I personally only live around the corner, I thought there was no way I couldnt include this piece. And thirdly the Smallest street in the whole World.

Backed with cork.

Heat pressed on with a new technique for brighter colour and hardier resistance.

As the coasters are natural stone they do come with various textures.
